It was so easy isn’t it. You want more geeky way to do this ? here it is by editing registry.

The Geek Style

1.Start Run (shortcut key : win+R) and run “regedit”

2.Explore the registry separately

For local user registries  HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\

and

 For all users registries HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\

It would look like this

registry_run

(sorry i can’t put up a screenshot of whole registry tree because it’s out of bounds of my monitor)

3.Delete the values of programs you don’t need to Startup.

Although you can add values to Startup  your own programs !

RightClick->New->StringValue

Give it a name  and RightClick to modify the value.Value should be a valid execution command. Common format of execution command for non-geeks  “path to .exe” <argument> path is better written within double quotes however arguments may be optional

A simple example guess what will it startup:

registry_newvalue

Thanks for reading. We really appreciate share,like and tweets.
